Learn languages abroad - Spanish courses in Seville
What do you think about when you hear the name Seville? A lot of sun, flamenco, tapas, bullfight, colors, life and and and..
The capital of Andalusia is a vibrant city, which keeps alive the spirit of its tradition. All this makes studying Spanish in Seville an unforgettable experience.

Seville with its history of more than 2500 years is one of the most enchanting cities of Andalucia. According to the legend, Seville was founded by Hercules and its origins are linked with the Tartessian civilisation. It was called Hispalis under the Romans and Isbiliya with the Moors.
The cathedral and its tower, the Giralda and the Alcazár are one of the famous monuments of the city.
Sevilla knows many traditions, like the “ Semana Santa ”, the “ Feria de Abril ”, the music of Flamenco and the bullfights. And don't miss the tapas! The city is credited with their invention and has more than a thousand bars where the choice of food is virtually unlimited. The Sevillans actually make a meal of them, moving from bar to bar and testing one dish after the other. Apart from the spectacular nightlife, the city of Seville has much to offer. You can enjoy flamenco shows and spontaneous concerts on the streets or in bars, you could go for a walk in the beautiful Maria Luisa Park, you could go to the theatre, visit one of the many museums or spend an exciting afternoon in Seville's amusement park, “ La isla Magica ”.

Social activities
Cultural activities make up an important of your Spanish course. Language is the cornerstone of culture and by experiencing Spanish culture you will have a greater appreciation, facility, and purpose in the language.
Here is your chance to have fun with other students and friends and enjoy your time in Seville, which is the most amazing and vibrant city in Spain—the city that is a must-see for any visit to Andalusia.
Your Spanish course comes with two free cultural activities per week such as guided tours through Seville’s most interesting places, dance classes, Spanish cooking and wine-drinking, as well as movies, get-togethers, and social outings.
These activities take place every week, normally on Tuesday and Thursday:
- Guided tours through Seville, one of the most walkable cities in Europe. Take a walk with your peers, accompanied by a teacher, through the most popular and historical areas of the city, like the famous barrio de Santa Cruz and the just as famous Triana. It is not a typical "tourist visit"— we show you the city from the local perspective.
- Dance. The dance teachers are professionals that will show you the basic steps to start dancing to the Latin and flamenco beats.
- Cooking classes. You can make with your own hands, and under the supervision of your teacher, a delicious Gazpacho Andaluz or refreshing Sangría that we will have together. We will also teach you about the history of Sherry wine, and how to tell the difference between different varieties with a fun tasting session.
- Film club. You will see some of the most famous Spanish films every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Your teacher, a real expert in Spanish Film, will give you some information about the director and actors in the movie, and after seeing it, you can do some practical exercises in Spanish. This way you will reinforce your Spanish learning at the same time as you see a great film.
