Compact Spanish
This course focuses on the essentials: Grammar, Skills and Vocabulary. It is high on content and pre-supposes students will make an effort to practise their new knowledge as much as possible outside classroom. It is possible to combine this course with one to one classes or the Commercial Spanish course.
3 lessons daily (3 lessons compact spanish: Grammar, Skills and Vocabulary).

Standard course
This course combines rigorous learning with dynamic, task-led activities. It promotes speaking and writing in simulated real-life situations, ensuring that the student's Spanish flows from the classroom onto the street.
4 lessons daily (3 lessons compact spanish, 1 lesson Plus Activity) 20 lessons per week.

Intensive course
For those who want a more intensive and personal course. It is also the most varied, as well as benefiting from both the Target Spanish and Plus lessons, students enjoy Spanish and Latin America Culture activities as their fifht lesson.
5 lessons daily (3 lessons compact spanish, 1 lesson Plus Activity and 1 lesson Spanish and Latin American Culture)
25 lessons per week.

Spanish Cross-Cultural
This course is recommended for those who prefer extra cultural content to the Plus Activities. It offers students the chance to study the essentials whilst taking advantage of the Spanish and Latin American Culture activities.
4 lessons daily (3 lessons compact spanish, 1 lesson Spanish and Latin American Culture) 20 lessons per week.

Preparation courses for Spanish Diplomas ( D.E.L.E. )
The D.E.L.E. exams are granted by the Instituto Cervantes, on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education. These exams are recognized in professional and educational circles all over the world.
Many of the students move onto the D.E.L.E. Preparation Courses from the Intensive Standard and Compact Courses. The Directors of Study advise and guide students on this course shift, ensuring they embark on the D.E.L.E. (see levels below) at the optimum time.
4 lessons daily, 20 lessons per week.
Duration: 1-6 weeks. Intermediate level required for D.E.L.E. Intermedio, Advanced level required for D.E.L.E. Superior.
Starting dates 1 - 6 weeks prior to examinations mid May, late August and mid November.
Note: Please note that exam fees are not included in the course prices.

Business Spanish
At entry level, this course focuses on business vocabulary, expressions and functional Spanish needed for successful business correspondence and negotiation.
Later, the focus is on micro/macro economical aspects and socio-cultural considerations implicit in the Spanish and Latin American experience. Some of the topics covered include The Job Market, In-Company Communication, Marketing and Publicity, the Stock Exchange, Main Industries and Spain & the EU.
The school is an approved centre for preparation of the Madrid and Barcelona Chamber of Commerce exams (Certificado Básico or Certificado Superior). These exams take place in March, June, July and November at the school.
1 lesson daily, 5 lessons per week.

Academic Year
Academic year students are privileged. Their course offers them fluency in Spanish, knowledge of Spanish culture, enhanced opportunities for the future and lifelong friendships.
This course is adaptable to international academic calendars. Most students start their academic year at the beginning of September and study through until the end of June, with holiday breaks at Christmas and Easter. Students study on the Intensive course and then join the DELE course to obtain official recognition of their Spanish level. The Directors of Study advise students as to which of the two exams is appropriate for them. In their final 6 weeks students prepare for the prestigious Chamber of Commerce exams.
The duration is 40 weeks. Courses start normally in September. Entry level:all.

One to One
This course is the most effective way of achieving goals in a limited amount of time. These classes are made to fit the needs of the individual. The student decides length, dates and number of classes.

Compact Spanish (grammar, skills and vocabulary)
Target Spanish lessons are rounded, varied and intense. Students study the grammar structures, functions and vocabulary of the day and providing them with controlled practice. Lesson content, pace and daily program are very carefully controlled to ensure students are pushed but never stressed.
Plus Activities
The Plus Activities pick up where Target Spanish leaves off, providing a dynamic complement to textbook learning. Students put their new Spanish knowledge to practical use, enjoying varied challenges such as working with video - there is nothing like seeing and hearing yourself speak Spanish; or making a magazine - practising your writing brings an immediate improvement in your Spanish.
Spanish and Latin American Culture
Part of the joy and, for many, most of the point of learning a language is that it opens doors to the cultural expression and experiences of the new land. And knowledge of the country's social ad cultural fabric enhances communicative competence.
The culture activities offer an overview of aspects key to students' Spanish education. Every day opens another door to fascinating, marvellous Spain. And on some days, Latin America takes centre stage, giving students a global context of the Spanish-speaking world.

General information about the courses
- Starting dates: All learners (including beginners): any Monday from 07.01.08 - 19.12.08
- Each lesson lasts 50 minutes.
- The teaching material is included in the course price.
- Small learning groups (average 5 students max. 9)
- At the end of the course each student who attended class regulary will receive a certificate from the center.
- The number of lessons may be modified if there is a holiday.
The courses for 2008 start on any Monday of the year between 7.1.2008 and 19.12.2008 including for beginners.
